The NHG has been accredited by the Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Program (AAHRPP) since March 2007.

AAHRPP is an independent and non-profit organisation that performs accreditation of human subjects’ protection programs of institutions conducting research. AAHRPP accredits organisations that demonstrate standard of research subject protection beyond the threshold of regulatory requirements.

The full AAHRPP accreditation is a testament to the quality and efficiency of our research conduct and commitment in human subject protection, in conjunction to strive for research excellence. To be accredited successfully, NHG went through rigorous evaluation by human research protection experts. Being AAHRPP-accredited, we have systems in place to monitor the well-being of the research participants. Research participants can trust that our researchers will put their safety and well-being as a top priority.
