NHG has taken its expanded mission as NHG Cares to support the national Healthier SG strategy in caring for the population residing in Central and North Singapore. We are effectively shifting healthcare beyond the walls of our Institutions, as we aim to attain a longerterm sustainable model that addresses not just health, but social drivers, and a holistic perspective of how we invest in the well-being of our population.
NHG is working closely with General Practitioners (GPs), community partners, and agencies in Central and North Singapore to build healthier, happier communities — by empowering residents to adopt healthy lifestyle behaviours and habits at work, at play, and at home. We are supporting the specific health and social care needs of residents to ensure they stay well in the community for longer.
NHG continues to work on bringing care closer to home. By raising health literacy, activating community partners, and leveraging innovation and technology, we hope to empower our residents with chronic conditions to lead fulfilling lives.

NHG is dedicated to identifying and empowering both the pre-frail and frail population, to ensure quality of care for our seniors. By closely collaborating with our Institutions, we are proactively driving preventive care and capacity-building in the community, as well as integrating health and social services to meet the complex care needs of our elderly population.
NHG is committed to fostering greater acceptance and accessibility of End-Of-Life (EOL) care within the community. Together with our Institutions, we are striving towards ensuring comprehensive support for residents in Central and North Singapore in their EOL journey through a diverse range of initiatives.
