​Our Social Media Initiatives

To reach out to our tech-savvy audiences and central region residents, we collaborate with various institutions and community partners to roll out several initiatives to raise awareness on traumatic injuries.
FIRST AID ON THE GO (2021)

"First Aid On The Go" is an outreach initiative by the Central Region Trauma Services and in collaboration with Tan Tock Seng Hospital. It is a three-part video series focusing on providing first aid tips to assist the injured victims in various emergency trauma scenarios. This useful information is also made available in user-friendly step-by-step leaflets and first aid kits for the general public. 

The three episodes include:
  • Stop the bleed
  • Fractures (Wrist and Hip)
  • Injuries during a vehicular accident (upcoming)

"TRAUMA AND INJURY PREVENTION" CAMPAIGN (2020)

This campaign consisted of a bi-monthly infographic posts on social media, touching on the leading causes of traumatic injuries in Singapore. It also encompassed injury prevention and management tips contributed by trauma experts from various trauma care disciplines within CRTS institutions.

Topics covered included:
  • Stop that fall before it happens
  • Acute Stress Reaction (ASR) after a traumatic event
  • Debunking myths on road safety and vehicular accidents
  • Drink-driving is a deadly mix
  • Safety tips to prevent PMD and PAB-related fires
