Supported by a multidisciplinary team involves doctors, staff nurses, therapists and members of all of the various disciplines from the institutions within the Central Region Trauma Services, we are uniquely positioned to be at the cutting-edge of trauma and acute care training, shaping the delivery and transformation of trauma care.
We are committed to nurture and help healthcare professionals to remain up-to-date with the latest development of trauma care in Singapore and globally, as well as providing assistance in arranging customised learning activities to address specific training needs.
Central Region Trauma Services (CRTS)
Initiated in 2019, the Central Region Trauma Services (CRTS) is served by the multi-disciplinary trauma teams spanned across the healthcare clusters and systems, namely, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, Sengkang General Hospital, KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Raffles Hospital, and the upcoming Woodlands Health.
Ensuring the best of care for its patients, the CRTS is also supported by the National Neuroscience Institute in caring for patients who require neurosurgical care.
Noting that care continuum starts even before the patients arrive at the hospital, we work closely with the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) and the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) to support the implementation of the national initiatives.
