Learning Journey to 3M

On 18 September, twenty participants of the NHG Inspiring SEAL Programme (ISP), led by its Programme Chair – Adj. A/Prof Chua Hong Choon, had a fun-filled learning journey to the 3M Innovation & Customer Technical Centre, located in Yishun.

This learning journey was organised for the ISP participants as part of the program’s Culture Building Module.
 
Through the visit and talk by Ms. Mabel Low, General Manager for the 3M Healthcare Business Group, the participants learnt about how 3M cultivates and promotes an innovation and collaborative culture within their organisation. During the tour around 3M’s Customer Technical Centre, participants were introduced to the many innovative inventions that were centred on solutions for common problems faced by both medical workers and patients. The visit ended with a lively discussion among NHG and 3M on opportunities for future innovations and collaborations.
